Depending on size of DB...Full restore may take a long time, whereas changing instance parameters may not if and only if you really know the guts...reSIDing is not for the weak at heart..If you have an EMC you can synch and split....restore and reSID...then split and synch back to the original host....if you want to stay on same boxChazWaz
